We have updates. Our appointment for Ortho isn't until Monday. Apparently that's standard. She should be in her temporary cast 5-7 days to allow the swelling to disappear. I wish they would have told us that before, I was expecting to get in ASAP. At that appointment we will find out what I wish I knew. How long she has to be in a cast, if she can be in a weight bearing cast, if she can get a waterproof cast to help the bathing situation a little, if there will be any long term effects with her growth plate etc...for now she is a spoiled little girl :)
We have the BEST friends and family. Aside from all the calls, messages, texts, (which have all been wonderful and we really appreciate) Aubree has had a few visitors. Whether she's in a good mood or not, she loves all her "prizes" and knows how much she is loved. She has been pampered.
