Unexpected plans

I saw my friend Karen, out on her porch and we went over to return a few things.  It turns out that both our husbands have late nights on Thursday....so we hung out with the kids for a bit....and decided to make an evening of it.  It was so much fun, and the weather is amazing lately so we had a picnic.

Impromptu plans are the best.  And it was such a good break in the LONG day that Dave is gone.  Thanks Karen!
