Liberty Park and Brave.

As my family has been here, we've been trying to get out and do things.  Not everyone can always go due to schedules and stuff.  So we go with whoever can, and hope that we all get enough "Mom and Dad time" before they have to leave (which we still don't know when that'll be)

Last night we went to Liberty Park.  Cha and Eric couldn't make this one, but the rest of us were there. We had a picnic and played.  The plan was for the adults to play tennis and the kids to run around and explore.  This was their first experience with Liberty Park!!!  ...unfortunately we didn't know that you had to schedule time at the courts...so we all just wandered and watched the girls go crazy.

Sophie loved this swing, that is for the disabled...but no one was waiting so we let her try....she kept wanting me to do underdogs, but I'm afraid she would have fallen right out!

It was a fun night with the family.

Then, this afternoon we went and saw Brave.  Kels and Guy couldn't make this one :( But Jenni and Corey came up and the rest of us went.  The girls were super excited to see it after having met Merida at Magic Kingdom.

They thought the naked parts were SOOOO funny...but kept asking why there were naked parts in a cartoon...my thoughts exactly...why???  The girls were sad that Merida didn't have a Prince.  Although I'm all about "strong women" and the message it was portraying..I did miss the love story too.  I was with the girls.  I wanted a Prince.   It wasn't our favorite Disney/Pixar...but we still enjoyed it.  And had a good time out with the Family.  Can't wait to see what the week holds!
